As We Arrive

Aloha! That means hello in Hawaiian language. We have just arrived on the beautiful island of Oahu in the city of  Honolulu. Here are some Hawaiian words that we have learned:
Aloha- hello, goodbye
Hula- a dance
Kai- sea
Kane- boy, man
Kukui- state tree
Lei-garland
Luau- a feast
Mahalo- thank you
Nene- state bird
Wahine- girl, woman
We have ate macadamian nuts and drank coffee all day. We have gone to do surfing lessons and we went to see the Diamond Head. Right now we are relaxing on the beaches of Hawaii.
